ProSoft Technology Introduces PROFIBUS DP High Speed Wireless Communication Gateways

Connect PROFIBUS field devices and share data between these devices using ProSoft Technology"s new ProLinx Wireless Gateways. ProSoft Wireless Protocol (PWP) allows sharing data "over-the-air", in a high performance, secure way, between different industrial networks and protocols. Leaning on this revolutionary technology, ProLinx 6000 Wireless Gateways provide users more flexibility than ever before in industrial wireless solutions allowing heterogeneous networks to share process and status data wirelessly. The database also aids in providing additional wireless security by acting as an access firewall.

WA-PDP Features Include:

• Utilizes a full function 802.11b wireless network card.
• A powerful and secure over-the-air wireless protocol and a wired PROFIBUS Master or Slave interface port.
• Functions as a client, providing an ultra-fast, secure and reliable wireless solution for the most demanding industrial applications.
• For field devices, PROFIBUS DP Master gateway provides standard & extended diagnostic information and freeze/sync capability.

ProSoft Technology Introduces Wireless HART Multidrop Communication Gateways 

ProSoft Technology's new ProLinx 6000 Wireless HART Gateways use a digital HART to wireless interface to bring high-speed connectivity to HART field devices and enable the sharing of data between these devices 'over-the-air'. The PLX-WA-HART Gateway utilizes the ProSoft Wireless Protocol (PWP), which allows different industrial networks and protocols to share process and status data with a secure wireless connection. The protocol driver is capable of supporting the HART protocol as a Master on up to 8 channels per gateway, each of which is individually configurable for point-to-point or multi-point applications, providing a great deal of flexibility.

ProSoft Technology's PLX-WA-HART Gateway provides an ultra-fast, secure and reliable wireless solution ideal for users who wish to monitor and obtain diagnostics from remote or difficult to wire HART devices.The PLX-WA-HART gateway is an extension of ProSoft Technology's field proven HART gateway and wireless technologies and enables a path toward a wireless technology / protocol gateway that provides both a wireless infrastructure and wired control network connectivity for the future HART Communication Foundation's (HCF) wireless HART protocol.ProSoft Technology is a member of HCF and supports HCF's efforts to develop a wireless HART standard.
